Hey hey, my loves. Welcome back to “Izzy May I.” To start us off again, here’s an excellent question someone asked me yesterday: What is the initial incident that springs your main character(s) towards your story’s main plot?

Hey, everyone. How’s today treating you so far? My grandma, who I didn’t get the chance to know as much as I would’ve loved to, (she lived in another country), passed away last Monday.
Also in response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Fill In the Blank.” Three people walk into a bar . . . and have a deep conversation with yours truly. We’ve talked about what makes an effective book cover, to us, in this post. But the conversation didn’t tip all the way over to what we’d like for our own book covers.
