Izzy May I: The Write Prompt

Hey, everyone. How’s today treating you so far?

My grandma, who I didn’t get the chance to

know as much as I would’ve loved to,

(she lived in another country),

passed away last Monday.

Her funeral was yesterday. It was beautiful

and sad. So today just “is.”

I don’t know if that makes sense to you,

but it is.

Aside from that, this week’s topic concerns writing prompts such as the following: Describe a favorite season, favorite time of the year, or a memorable event (positive or negative) using only one of your “five” senses. Something to remember.

Feel free to add another writing prompt that you’ve come across down in the comments. ^_^

  4. Just went through this myself in a bitter sweet sort of way. Stay strong, stay happy and celebrate life. Life here has gotten back to normal and since returning from my trip to Florida, leaves have begun to appear on our trees. I thank my grandmother 🙂

  6. I’m so sorry for your loss and the fact that you did not get to spend as much time with her as you would have liked to. Hold on to your memories of her…that is one blessing we have. She will not be forgotten. I read a quote recently that said , ” Tears are the silent language of grief”.
Prompt…if you could relive a part of your life…what age would you choose and why.
