Migraines are no joke! You have my sympathy.

Thank you! What are your experiences like?
I used to have it so bad that the only thing that helped was sleep. I cut back on sugar and eliminated sodas from my diet an they have improved. They still happen, but less frequent.
Ooh! Glad to see an example of lifestyle changes. I did the same. Just as you, the migraines still come sometimes. Sleep is a blessing.
Oh so sorry! I used to have them 3 to 5 days a week. They are horribly debilitating and so hard to treat. I finally found a drug that helped after years…Imitrex. Before that I got some relief from being on Attenolol. Hope your journey with them is short! It seems I just had to grow out of them. Feel better!
Thanks! I had it for three days, then it simmered down only to come back with full force yesterday. I took Ibuprofen, but I’m going to a chiropractor later today. This can’t go on any longer.
I’m sorry. My migraines are like mini-strokes. I hope you will recover soon.
They are ridiculous, aren’t they? Mine got to the point of me throwing up. Now there’s pressure and dull pain weighing me down. Thanks for sharing, too! I love how we can all connect, even if it’s to something so horrible
I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better. It usually takes at least a couple of days to get right again after a migraine.
The chiropractor helped me by the grace of God! I’ve never experienced a five-day migraine. Thanks for thinking of me. Again, I’m sorry we all have experiences with such pain.
Good luck, tough to them, hope you recover soon.
Thank you! My trip to the chiropractor and the time I took to rest (even though I didn’t like it) helped more than I imagined they would. How are you feeling this week?
Glad to hear. Always moving this side, 2 year old does that to you…hehe.

Aww, lol. I don’t have kids of my own, but I’m an active auntie, so I have a good idea of what you mean.
My daughter has chronic migraines. Had Botox treatments, but won’t go back. Says they didn’t really help. She also told me she gets migraine hangovers ? So sorry for you. (and her.)
Yes! Migraine hangover (the third step of the torture). That’s the perfect way to describe it. I’m sorry for her and all of us (those who’ve experienced it and those who are stuck watching their loved ones go through such pain).
I’m so sorry you have these. My daughter has had them for years and has to give herself a shot…which makes it worse for about ten minutes and then it begins to start calming things down. I hope you feel better real soon.
Ooh, shots. I hate them, but I would try them because this pain and pressure seem endless. I’m hoping the chiropractor can relieve a great chunk of it.
My mom has them.
I’m sorry to her and you, too! My mom and younger sister also have them.
Yeah I get them chronically too, twice a week usually. Awful awful pain. Yeah I get the hangovers too
Twice a week . . . usually . . . then the hangovers . . . I’m so sorry, for what it’s worth. Have they been getting worse or better?
Worse as I get older. My nana still gets them, my mum, my sister and me and some aunties too… Right through the family!
Wow, a familial hardship for you, too. Ever been to a chiropractor? It may or may not help, but it’s worth the try if you can pay for the assessment and adjustment.
Ha ha ha 🙂 nice one. Assessment maybe, adjustment… Might hurt 🙂
Yes, it left my body sore but after two days (in which I did use icepacks) I felt loads better! I felt the difference in my head right after the adjustment, but I felt alive and free again after two days. Hopefully, I’m not confusing you. lol
Oh my goodness the last one I had lasted 4 days!
Wow! It’s a wonder how we survive through these things. What do you do when you’re experiencing a migraine?
The best thing is to lay down in a dark room. I recently tried go to the pharmacy / drug store for what they call a migraine cocktail which you take before going to bed.
I hope your brain listened and you feel better soon…
Lol, my brain is quite defiant. It sucks because I’m missing work. I feel stuck.
Poor you! My uncle gets migraines, I’ve seen how bad it can get. He couldn’t get out of bed for days… Fingers crossed you feel better.
Thanks! Has he had them recently? I’ll keep him in my thoughts, too. I’m finally feeling human again, alive. ^_^
I’ve never had one and hope I never do – they sound very painful. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
Thank you, and everyone! I hope you never experience it. I don’t have any enemies, but if I did, I wouldn’t even dare to wish this on them.
[…] update: if you remember how I stumbled on a few scares with my family and health (see this post and that post), know that my mom is okay and my migraines are in […]
